I am responsible for my life. I accept self-responsibility.
Today, I stand tall and brace my shoulders and with the courage of a hero and the smile of a conqueror and accept the truth that each of us is accountable for our lives, that each of us creates our destiny.
I take responsibility for my choices as well as the consequences of my actions.
Today, I know that I am in charge of my success, my failure, my happiness, my sorrow, my glow, my gloom, my victory, my defeat, my wealth, my poverty, my peace as well as my restlessness, my health, my dis-ease, my progress, my backwardness, the friends I choose and the enemies I make, my love, my disgust, my hope, my despair, my courage, my fear, my willingness, my indifference, my balance, my bias, my goals, my aimlessness, my faith, my doubt, my dreams, my nightmares, my desires, my fulfillment, my liberty, my limitations, my reaction, my response, my freedom and my bondage.
Today, I no longer seek to control or to change the world or a country or the society I live in or my family or my friends. I realize that wisdom lies in accepting that I have control over my life alone.
Today, I turn my excuses into reasons to grow and fault-finding into learning outcomes. I take control of my thoughts and begin to build my life anew.
And each day, I recollect the truth during my working hours, and remember it when I am home and affirm it upon waking and as I go to sleep. In time, the truth shall set me free.
