I forgive . I release the past. I am whole.
Forgiveness heals. I open my heart* and let go all resentment that I have so long foolishly held on to. I now know that revenge like acid corrodes the heart that holds it. Like dark smoke, all ill-will is released into the All-Forgiving Universe. I am emptied of negativity. I am whole again. I am healed.
Forgiveness strengthens. It gives me the courage to move on knowing that I am in control of my feelings. I become stronger because I exercise my positive emotions. I radiate harmony**.
I forgive myself. I completely give up*** blaming myself. I accept with serenity the things I erred at and learn from them and get back on track.

* Forgiveness is good for your heart — literally. One study from the Journal of Behavioral Medicine found forgiveness to be associated with lower heart rate and blood pressure as well as stress relief. This can bring long-term health benefits for your heart and overall health.

Liked the line I forgive myself.Often, we are burdened with the guilt feeling. But then ,who are we to forgive? What about the law of Karma?Someone has wronged us,perhaps we have wronged them in the previous birth. So instead of forgiving, why not forget?
Forgiveness is one of the indicators of Dharma as per the saints and scriptures.
Preceding to it Steadiness and next to it is Self- Restraint. It is a know fact that if you Protect Dharma, Dharma Protects you.
