I can. I will. I can. I will. I can. I will
I can do all things through faith in myself. I can fulfill the dreams I see when I am awake through belief in myself. I can stand unshaken amidst the crash of breaking worlds through trust in myself. I can accomplish the great deeds I desire through conviction in myself.
I can hold in my arms the achievement I aspire, the success I seek, the happiness I pursue, the love I cherish, the warmth I yearn, the riches I want, the potential I possess, the courage I long for, the satisfaction I hope for, the meaning and purpose of life I search for, only through confidence in myself.
I know that gaining self-confidence is not one-tenth as difficult as I imagine. It is not a gift given to a chosen few. Aha! I feel its presence as I acknowledge and affirm the truth: I am nature’s greatest creation; I am unique in all the world; Infinite power is within me. And from now on, in every situation, I will stand tall on the rock of this affirmation.
When I am called to speak in public, I chant ‘I can, I will’ and step forward. When I am faced with a financial crisis, I shout ‘I can, I will’ and look for possibilities. When I am assigned a task that appears to be too big to handle or too difficult to accomplish, I remind myself ‘I can, I will’ and I set to work. When I am stuck in an emotional quicksand, I silently hum ‘I can, I will’ and look for ways to pull myself out.
In waking, eating, working, loving, sleeping, dreaming, I constantly affirm unheard by any, ‘I can, I will’. And armed with the magic wand of self-confidence, I cast the spell ‘I can, I will’ on the Voldemort of fear and transform every can’t into a can and every won’t into a will.
I am thrilled for I now know that self-confidence is something I can never lose, because self-confidence is something I can always choose by affirming ‘I can, I will’.
